Why one free jump, and not a time-limited trial?
Because a 7-day trial is useless if the weather turns. Skydiving doesn't run on a calendar — you might not get to the DZ for three weeks. One free tracked jump waits as long as you need it to, and it proves the thing that actually matters: that the Watch caught your jump properly.

Billing questions.
How does the free trial work?
Both plans include a 1-week free trial through the App Store. Apple confirms your trial eligibility and the renewal terms before you confirm the purchase, and you can cancel any time during the trial in your Apple subscription settings.
Is the yearly plan actually cheaper?
Yes. $74.99 a year against $7.49 × 12 = $89.88 saves you $14.89, about 17%. Whether that's worth committing to depends on how much you jump — if you're seasonal, monthly may suit you better.
What happens to my jumps if I cancel?
They stay on your device and in your own iCloud. There is no BreakOff server holding your logbook, so there's nothing for us to withhold. You can export to PDF or CSV whether or not a subscription is active.
I bought Pro and it isn't showing up.
Use Restore Purchases in the app and check you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still doesn't appear, get in touch with your app version and device details.
Do I need Pro to use the Apple Watch part?
No — phase detection runs the same either way. What Pro unlocks is saving more than one tracked jump, plus gear, stats, export and backup.
Is there a student or instructor discount?
Not currently. If you run a DZ or coach regularly and think there's a sensible arrangement to be had, say so — it's a one-person operation and that feedback genuinely shapes what happens next.
