Find the right records
Open Logbook and choose recent history, a calendar year or all records. Search and filters apply to the selected period. Choose all history before searching across your entire collection.
Free shows the newest ten saved jumps across supported sources. Older records are retained, not deleted. Logbook and Pro reveal unlimited history. Apple Watch capture continues without a Free-tier capture limit.
Correct summaries without losing measurements
Open the saved jump.
Use Edit in the jump header to correct its summary information.
Review the change.
Dates, exit and deployment altitude, break-off altitude and freefall duration can be corrected. Original measurements remain preserved; the corrected summary is not a rewritten sensor trace.
Check chronology and gear.
Use extra care with date or bulk corrections. Review any guard messages because changing chronology can affect gear and lineset history.
Recheck sign-off.
A change to a required signed field can invalidate a sign-off. Arrange a fresh in-person sign-off when required.
Understand the selected period — Pro
In Stats, check whether the view covers the recent 20 jumps or your selected period. Read chart coverage with totals: a jump can count toward a period while lacking the measurements needed for a particular chart.
Personal Trends use the records available in that scope. STRONG, LIMITED and NEEDS DATA describe evidence coverage. They are not ratings or predictions.
Protect saved and pending records
Finish pending saves first.
Check pending Watch recordings and Recording Inbox. A recording waiting to be saved is not yet the same thing as a saved logbook entry.
Create a logbook backup.
Use the backup controls with Logbook or Pro. Retain an external copy before a device change, reinstall or major cleanup.
Export original recordings separately.
Keep original Garmin FIT files and export pending Inbox originals. Pending Watch recordings and Inbox originals are not included in the iCloud logbook backup.
Verify before removing anything.
Check that exports exist and saved records are visible. Use the app’s explicit recovery and removal controls. A successful file export and a verified logbook import are different outcomes.
Sign and export your logbook
Logbook and Pro support in-person QR sign-off, PDF/CSV logbook exports and basic sharing. Pro adds detailed analysis exports and linked Photos video.
Choose the relevant jumps or period before exporting. Keep QR sign-off tied to a signer who is present and has approved the record; it does not replace verification required by your association or dropzone.
Follow the full QR sign-off stepsRestore access after an upgrade
Existing active Pro subscriptions continue as Pro in V2. If your expected plan is missing, use Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account that owns it. Check that iPhone and Watch can refresh the entitlement.
A lapse in paid access does not delete older saved records. Free’s newest-ten window is a visibility limit. Upgrading reveals the retained history again.
